RGV is at it again. Even before the regular shoot of ‘Katha Screenplay Darskatvam Appalraju, commenced, the film’s song has created flutter in Tollywood. On the muhurat shot of the film, a song was played in front all the guests who graced the event. The song, written by Kaluva Sai, criticizes even Ram Gopal Varma and then goes on commenting on all the leading directors from K Raghavendra Rao to Kodi Ramakrishna, from EVV to Krishnavamsi, from V V Vinayak to Puri Jagannadh.

Now the song has become hot discussion topic in filmnagar in Hyderabad. Koti has scored the music for it.

Reacting to the rumors that she is going to have a lip lock scene with Junior NTR in “Brindhavanam”, Kajal clarified that this is a baseless rumor and has no truth in it. She sticks to her age old principle to stay comfortable in the film industry and wants to keep her family away from all kinds of embarrassment caused discomforts.

Tollywood sources disclose that if, in case, Kajal sticks to her principles, then very soon she may get sidelined in the film industry. Chinni Krishna, who have penned down stories for blockbuster movies like ‘Narasinha Naidu’, ‘Indra’, ‘Gangotri’, etc is writing the story and screenplay for this ‘genius’ movie.

The interesting part at the ‘Genius’ movie title launch function is that Allu Aravind, who has been the guest for the occasion told that he (Geetha Arts) would produce a film with Chinni Krishna.

Hailing Chinni Krishna, Allu Aravind said, “Chinni Krishna is works hard at screenplay. My son Bunny (Allu Arjun) became a hero because of Chinni Krishna in a way. Further, Chinni Krishna even Okayed the ‘Indra’ script in one sitting with Mega Star Chiranjeevi. And Chinni Krishna is writing the story for Allu Arjun’s ‘Badrinath’.

But Chinni Krishna’s film with Geetha Arts would largely depend on the outcome of ‘Genius’ and Allu Arjun ‘Badrinath’ movie. And on the other hand, since ‘Genius’ being Omkar’s directorial debut, he needs to be cautious about his maiden film for making a prosperous career in Telugu Movies

Panchakshari movie review: Panchakshari starring Anushka Shetty in a double rule has hit the theaters today. It remains to be seen if Anushka’s magic would work as in Arundhati. Anushka seems to be riding on the waves of success where her latest release Vedam has won her accolades. The faring of this movie would determine the market for women centric movies in the Telugu movie industry which is male dominated to a large extent.

In Panchakshari star cast, Anushka would be seen donning the role of a traditional village girl and a modern woman as well. The movie has been directed by Samudra. While in the traditional role Anushka is seen in sarees wearing jasmine flowers, the modern role showcases her in jeans and other western wear. The movies plot requires her to play the act of a Goddess as well. With her large expressive eyes she has played delivered this role extremely well.

Plot of Panchakshari has a devotional touch to it and revolves around the divine powers Anushka’s character is supposed to possess. Panchakshari (Anushka) is in Janagaon’s temple premises to a couple played by Chandra Mohan and Rajitha. Known to possess divine powers, Goddess comes over Panchakshari on every Ashada purnima during Bonalu. She comes of age and is married to a young lad Sriram played by Samrat. The movie takes a sudden twist when Pradeep Rawat kills Panchakshari in a bid to grab treasure under the temple. Post Panchakshari’s death events unfold in such a way that Samrat is forced to go to the city. It is here that he comes across the modern Panchakshari look alike and fashion enthusiast Honey Patel. What follows next forms the rest of the story.

Panchakshari movie flips between extreme devotion and action. Jatras and huge gatherings filled with colors flying everywhere are an integral part of the movie. Samrat did not get a meaty role in the movie and doesn’t get enough screen space. The temple priest played by Subbaraya Sarma has greater role instead. Pradeep Rawat did justice to his role as a villain. Anushka plays both the roles well though her mass song crosses the limit.

Watch Panchakshari for Anushka. The movie has traces of comedy but violence and devotion related scenes dominate the script. Those who do not have loud tastes can prefer to stay away.

Heroine Roja who had established her own brand image in the industry by acting with all the top actors like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijayakanth and many others, had quit the films and went to politics. And now, the latest news is that she is fed up with politics and ready to quit them and back to movies soon. Already she has acted in a recent Telugu film ‘Golimaar’ and also acting as Vijay’s mother in a Tamil film titled ‘Kaavalkaran’.

The actress says “I faced a lot of problems in politics, and as I was always wandering between the Collectors Office and Police Station for the welfare of people I couldn’t look after my health properly. Though I do this much things to people, people prefer only those who do not do anything for them. Politics is male dominated and it is difficult for women to withstand. I have started to hate politics”.

She further adds “People interested in public welfare enter politics, but nothing can be done without political power. So I have decided to return back to cinema. I will continue to act in films in any roles that come my way. I am very happy to act as Vijay’s mother. Many new face actress are entering the cinema field, it’s a encouraging sign. The taste of people has changed over years”.
