Remember K. Balachander's Maro Charithra in Telugu -- the same movie which was remade in Hindi as Ek Duuje Ke Liye? Dil Raju is making an adaptation of the blockbuster with Varun Sandesh of Happy Days fame.

Varun is playing the role, immortalized by Kamal Haasan in its original versions. Debutant Anitha is the female lead and shooting is progressing at Hyderabad. The film is definitely a must-watch for its title because they are trying to remake a timeless blockbuster.

The cinematography and direction are by Ravi Yadav. Mickey J. Meyer scores the music. The cast includes veteran actor Pratap Pothan,Yami Gautam, Kota Srinivas Rao, Oorvashi, Naresh, Thalaivasal Vijay, Sandhya Janak and Aadarsh.
