| Above Average Sairam Shankar comes up with a new film after Bumper Offer. This film is also a love story and how the hero wins over his love after cheating his lover with a big lie is the story. Story: Anand (Sairam Shankar) is the only son of Naresh. Anand has lost his mother in hi childhood and Naresh brings him up with a lot of care love and attention. Anand is a happy go lucky guy without a care in the world as his father is reasonably well off. Anand spends all his time partying with friends an the girls too seem to love him. However Anand is searching for that special woman in life. Enter Latha (Suhani) a beautiful girl and Anand falls flat for her. For Anand it is love at first sight but Latha does not reciprocate his love. She has a flashback. Latha met a young boy when she went to a temple in Srikakulam some 15 years ago. They become friends and the boy Abhiram gives Latha his ring as a gift to mark their friendship. Latha who believes in destiny feels that she will find her childhood friend and marry him. Anand learns about this and lies to Latha saying that he is the childhood frind that she has been looking for all these years. Latha is overjoyed and she starts loving Anand. Anand is however unhappy as he feels guilty about lying to his lover in order to won her love. So he tells her the truth. Latha naturally is livid and she leaves Anand. Anand is now determined to make amends and when he meets Latha’s childhood friend, he decided to unite them. So Anand takes Latha to Malaysia where Abhiram is shooting for an ad film. Will Latha leave Anand and marry Abhiram? This is the suspense element and it should be watched on the screen. Performance: Sairam Shankar plays a passionate lover who is ready to sacrifice his love for making his ladylove happy. He makes a sincere effort and succeeds only partly. Sairam still need to improve a lot in his dialogue delivery and coming up with the right expressions to suit the dialogues and the mood. Suhani is an import from Bollywood. She fits the role perfectly. She is quite glamorous too and may bag a few more films in Telugu. Naresh does a good job as a caring and compassionate father. Ali and Raghu Babu come up with a bit of comedy. The others are okay. RP Patnaik comes up with some fast beats and there is a remix song ‘Eureka Shaka Laka… Dorikindi Malle Chandu…’ The photography is neat and the film is visually appealing. The story is decent and the screenplay also manages to hold your interest. Vaade Kaavali is a decent love story. The fate of the film however depends on the youth at whom it is primarily targeted. |
