It was already known that Sruthi Haasan is acting opposite Surya in Tamil film that is being directed by A R Murugadoss. Shruthi says that she is excited to act opposite Surya and to take part in this project.

Shruthi says “I am a great admirer of Surya and am quite excited about acting with him. It would be premature to comment on the story. But I am thrilled at the opportunity.”

When she was asked that is she taking the film career as full time, she replied “Certainly. My experiences in movies have been wonderful so far, so I’m looking forward to so much more. At the same time, I would like to clarify that I would like to shine in both fields- acting and music.”
