Most people will first react to the fact that the Saints lost their first game of the season. Then they will probably look at the Saints vs Cowboys score that ended up at 24 - 17 in the Cowboys favor and think it was a competitive game that the Saints had a chance to win. Well, they would be right about the second part, the Saints did have a chance to tie the game in the final minutes and push the game into overtime where they could have won. But the first part about it being a competitive game is no where near accurate.

The Cowboys dominated the Saints for three full quarters and only gave the Saints a chance to tie the game because the Dallas field goal kicker Nick Folk sucks and he missed a 24 yard field goal. The field goal would have put his team up by two scores with just over two minutes to go. I know Dallas is a different sports town than New England and that fans call for players heads a lot quicker in New England, but I would bet my retirement fund that Folk is gone on Monday. My friend lives in Dallas and he is a huge Cowboys fan and he says that the team sticks with players and coaches way too long, giving them way too many opportunities that they don't deserve. I think Folk has used up all his opportunities.
