The peaceful Andhra Pradesh is now disturbed due to the Telangana Movement. The Telangana supporters decided to take a rally called ‘Chalo Assembly’ without permission from the government and the government is expected to impose all restrictions in the city. One of the worst affected industries due to such disturbances is Tollywood. More precisely the suffers are producers and artists of films which are ready to hit theaters.

‘Saleem’ and ‘Katha’ are supposed to hit theaters on December 11. ‘Katha’ has already been postponed to December 12 and now the ‘Saleem’ group is keenly watching the developments to take a decision on the release.

With worldwide release well planned ahead and also being the first film to be released in 35 theaters in Maharashtra itself, there are attempts by Vishnu and team to ensure that the processes are properly handled. It’s very unfortunate that the disturbances in Andhra Pradesh are affecting the second biggest industry in India very badly. If this trend continues it will be a huge loss to many producers who are keen to release films in the festive season – Christmas, New Year and Sankranthi.
